Create Botanical Perfume and Traditional Talismans

Each day we will create a botanical perfume: a liquid spice perfume on Day 1 and a solid gourmand perfume on Day 2, each capturing an essence of the season. We'll also explore seasonal botanical artistry, crafting bespoke treasures, infused with intention to become a personal talisman of your autumn experience. Ceremonies and rituals that honor autumn’s harmonious balance of light and shadow will be woven throughout. 

Nourishment for All the Senses

Between creative experiences, we’ll meander through the estate’s enchanting grounds, past sun-dappled vineyards, shaded forests, a tranquil pond, and wild, untamed corners of nature. Along the way, we’ll savor tea and cacao ceremonies, seasonal farm-to-table lunches by Della Fattoria, and scrumptious afternoon refreshments. As the golden hour descends, we’ll gather in joyful celebration and shared connection, raising a toast to the season’s beauty, bathed in autumn’s warm light.

About your Guide and Hostess

Your guide, Carole Addison-Goyne, brings over 30 years of expertise in aromatherapy and botanical perfumery, shaped by leading international retreats in the South of France (from Provence to Grasse), as well as decades of workshops and classes that marry artistry with the deep intelligence of plants. Our gracious hostess, Erin Brock, an herbalist whose vision blends sustainable luxury with natural beauty, opens her exquisite Forestville, CA estate to welcome you. With an intuitive sense for creating ambience, she weaves enchantment into every detail, including seasonal botanicals, artful touches, and quiet moments that invite presence across the estate’s vineyard, gardens, forest, and pond.
